That made for some very good writing. The only criticism I have is that you might want to make some of your paragraphs a little thicker - at least for me, it becomes hard to read consecutive pages of dozens of tiny paragraphs. Weird criticism, I know.

Thanks! I'm not sure the paragraphs will get thicker, because the other chapters will include different viewpoint characters and that's one of the things that tends to alter the size of my paragraphs, but we'll see.

Love your worldbuilding rants. I'm curious if you will be doing anything or are retired from ranting about worldbuilding?

I'd like to see a entry about medieval buisness (or just buisness through the ages past - before capitalstic theory and other theories of the sharing of wealth.)
