Could you let us know what license you decide on? I'm more than a little curious about Creative Commons but never really seem to have the time to research it to my satisfaction.

I am far from being a lawyer, but I think you want either the Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/) licence or Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/) licence, depending on whether you want to let others modify your novel/create stuff based on your novel. The "ShareAlike" means that derived works must be distributed under the same licence, a good idea IMO.

Sure. I'll want to look around carefully before I decide on one, though, so it might take some time.
